Who Is DMAC Audio

DMAC Audio was founded by Paul Rose — a working Melbourne musician with years of real-world live performance experience across pubs, venues, corporate events and touring tribute shows.

As the founder and frontman of live acts including Melbourne bands The Dirty Mac and In Your Honor – The Foo Fighters Experience, Paul understands live sound from both sides of the stage. That perspective is at the core of DMAC Audio’s approach.

Built around a musician-first mindset, DMAC Audio focuses on delivering reliable, high-quality live sound with a practical and collaborative approach. From pub gigs and tribute shows to community events and corporate functions, the goal is simple: make bands sound great, make events run smoothly, and create an experience that feels good both on stage and out front.

DMAC Audio actively works with artists throughout the show — understanding the dynamics, energy and challenges of live performance in real-world venues.

With professional RCF sound systems, monitor support, live recording capabilities and stage setup consultation services, DMAC Audio provides complete live audio solutions tailored to working bands and events across Melbourne and regional Victoria.

Our Approach

DMAC Audio was built with live bands in mind.

Full PA systems and live mixing for pubs, venues, tribute shows, community events and touring bands.

Clean mixes, proper headroom, reliable gear and an engineer who actively works with the band throughout the show.

We understand the challenges that come with live performance — stage volume, monitor mixes, rushed soundchecks and inconsistent venue sound.

And we understand the difference between a mix that simply works and one that genuinely connects with both the band and the audience.

Because we’re out there doing it too.

Professional live sound, FOH engineering & PA hire set up with drum kit, two large speakers, microphone stands, and a backdrop with a sunset over water, ready for a performance or event.
